To help with the upcoming parted release, I tested parted-3.1.90 on a
few different GNU/Linux distributions. Following are the test results:

TEST 1: Run 'make check' as user and as root:

Debian 7 - One fail - t0251-gpt-unicode

      bug#17943: parted-3.1.90 alpha make check fails t0251-gpt-unicode
on Debian 7
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-parted/2014-07/msg00013.html

Fedora 20 - Pass

      No failures encountered.

OpenSUSE 13.1 - One fail - t1700-probe-fs

      t1700-probe-fs failed due to "mkfs.nilfs2: invalid option -- 'f'"

Ubuntu 14.04 - Pass*

*t3000-resize-fs failed, but due to inability to create 550 mb
scsi_debug device

TEST 2: Compile and run GParted 0.19.1 with parted-3.1.90

      All operations I tried passed.

In my opinion the above test failures are minor and limited to the test
scripts only. None of the tests indicate problems in parted or
libparted in the parted-3.1.90 tarball.
