[parted-devel] make check fails

I get this when I try to run a make check on the current git head:
common.c: In function '_test_exception_handler':
common.c:28:1: error: function might be candidate for attribute
'noreturn' [-Werror=suggest-attribute=noreturn]
_test_exception_handler (PedException* e)
Why does gcc feel the need to be helpful and suggest these things, and
why do we ask it to treat all warnings as errors?
