[Parted-maintainers] Error informing the kernel about modifications to partition..

I have just download a fresh set of DVD of Debian 5.0.5 (i386) as my old set 
5.0.0+update 5.0.5 was not able to see the SATA CD....

and did fall on this problem:
" Error informing the kernel about modifications to partition..."

I am trying to install into /dev/sda2 (primary)
On the same disk there are:

/dev/sda1 NTFS
/dev/sda3   Extended
/dev/sda5  Swap
/dev/sda6  Kubuntu working
/dev/sda7 Ubuntu working

Is there any work-around ?...I am stuck
