Hi.

Apparently, GNU fdisk has been re-written from scratch:

and is now available in 2.0.0a1:
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-fdisk/2011-12/msg00000.html

It could possibly fix the critical bug #504099...
but it seems it's alpha and "there is still no user interface"...
whatever this means (no curses interface??).

Anyway... that's from 2011... so it somehow seems gnu fdisk could
be dead?
