Package: parted
Version: 3.2-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Connect a USB stick.
Open a terminal and type
"parted --script "/dev/sdf" "rm 1""

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Warning: The driver descriptor says the physical block size is 2048 bytes, but
Linux says it is 512 bytes.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Partition should be deleted.

Tried deleting this partition with gnome-disks but internally it seems to use
parted so I tried it directly as mentioned above.

This stick works without problems in Wheezy !
