[Parted-maintainers] Bug#742847: installer - /dev/sda1 device busy message during partitioning

When I attempt to repartition my single disk server during a reinstall, 
I get an error stating device or resource busy on /dev/sda1.

/proc/swaps and /proc/mounts don't show anything from sda1.

2014-03-24 jessie installer. The error looks like a duplicate of Ubuntu 
bug listed 
here:https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/parted/+bug/1220165 with 
a patch available.
