[Parted-maintainers] parted cp command missing

Hello,
according to the online documentation of parted at
https://www.gnu.org/software/parted/manual/html_chapter/parted_2.html
there should be an internal parted command "cp" for copying partitions.

I have parted v3.2 from the Debian 8 repository,
but it does not know the cp command, even not in its help.
What's the status on this? Is this maybe a crippled version of parted?

I cannot use any graphical tool, I need parted with its cp command
for making partition backup (ie. copying whole partitions) on the command line.
Please advise.
