Well, more precisely, the input units for some functions (like tan or sec)
and the output units of other functions (like asin).
The documentation should say somewhere that all angles, for both input or
output from the functions, are in radians. That is the normal
mathematical convention, but (in high school) I was originally taught trig
functions in degrees, so I agree that this could be confusing and doesn't
appear to be stated clearly anywhere.
