The source is a2p.y, a yacc/bison grammar file. See x2p/Makefile.SH.

The 2048 byte buffer seems to come from a2p.h, though. It looks like
(parts of?) a2p.h were originally created by 'byacc -d' but have since
been manually maintained and modified.
