Thanks for the report. However, I can't reproduce this. GET
https://update.spdyn.de seems to work fine for me.
Which version of libio-socket-ssl-perl do you have? This looks much like
https://bugs.debian.org/848346, which should be fixed in 2.040-1.
In any case this does not seem to be a problem with Perl itself,
but rather one of the libraries you're using. Reassigning to
liblwp-protocol-https-perl for now.
