Wow, you have been really busy!  This C++ stuff looks quite promising,
not just because of the string handling, but also because it makes sense
to organise things like info pages, the interface, etc in objects.

Anyway, my ``release plan'' would be to fix some more bugs in the old
plain C code (specifically debian bugs #218939, #299891 and #235134),
make sure the package also build on suse and fedora, and then release a
0.6.9 based on the old code.
After that, we could aim for a 0.7.0 based on the c++ code.
What do you think?
