[Piuparts-devel] Check for preserve modifications

Hi,

is it possible to check with piuparts, if a package keeps user changes
during upgrades (policy 10.7.3). I found some packages do not preserve my
changes to /etc/shells, esp. removing a shell from the list, or changes
to the init boot sequence, i.e. reordering the bootsequence.

Is it possible to detect such bugs? Should I send a wishlist bug report
to piuparts?
