Package: piuparts
Version: 0.30
Severity: normal

Hi,

when piuparts is invoked in a chroot, it gets confused by lsof which
is in turn confused by /proc/mounts containing path names that are not
valid inside the chroot, causing lsof to print warnings:

lsof: WARNING: can't stat() devpts file system /mnt/bigstuff/home/mh/chroot/sid-packages/dev/pts
        Output information may be incomplete.

This could be remedied in piuparts by adding the "-w" option to the
lsof call. I do not know whether this is a bug in lsof, but it can be
worked around in piuparts.

Greetings
Marc, hating lsof with a passion
