[Piuparts-devel] Bug#478577: piuparts: debfoster requires /proc/stat

i'm wondering whether it wouldn't be better to directly call tar,
instead of relying on the tarfile module. After all, tar is called
directly to extract the tarball.

Piuparts devs, what do you think?
