[Piuparts-devel] piuparts tempdir on tmpfs?

Hi Holger,

in the masterd thread you wrote that piatti is I/O bound. Did you
consider using a tmpfs instead of a real disk? IIRC piatti has 8 GB of
RAM, which should be sufficient ... (my setup has 8 GB RAM, 16 GB SWAP
and piuparts works nicely on tmpfs (didn't benchmark a real disk though)
- once i a while I'll have to clean up stale temp dirs from failed
piuparts runs)
