I forgot to push a small fix in the for-holger branch and there were
some issues in the preview branches that I didn't push yet because I
didn't expect you would merge them in their current state ...

everything beyond the first two patches hasn't gotten thorough testing,
but --warn-on-debsums-errors is ready for piatti (and you should
reschedule all fail/affected/bugged logs for squeeze to activate it)

stats with --warn-on-debsums-errors:
squeeze: 26 failed, 12 dependency-failed
lenny: 39 failed, 6 dep-failed
lenny2squeeze: 114 failed, 41 dep-failed

I'll be mostly offline for the next 1-2 weeks

PS: what about running two sid tests on piatty: with and without
--warn-on-leftovers-after-purge?
