I take it that this is the top hitter after you remove the dpkg leftover dirs?

On piuparts.d.o, gnustep-back-common (#663388) is
dependency-failed-test, tracing to gnustep-base common (96, 91), which
has the /etc/xml dpkg issue we have been going around about.
