I'm in favor for keeping the git mode, it is much easier for developing
and testing bleeding edge from git than building and installing packages
for every single change. And doing a make install with prefix=/usr to
get rid of PYTHONPATH is a no-go!

Mixing git and .debs should not be done or get support.

I think we can skip the wrapper, since it works reasonalby if called
from the generate_daily_report script. So only manually calling dwke is
broken in a from-git setup, but that is used rather rare and than we can
set PYTHONPATH manually.

I'd like to see the current code running on piatti, and for now that
would mean we need to stick to 2.6.
