That's the goal, though there are pressures to change that.

There are 3 master-error.log.* files with a similar error.

Which is not supposed to be a particularly expensive call, happening before
dwke really gets around to sucking down memory for the section. If it is
predictably crashing there, more RAM/swap may not be the answer.
