Hi all,

clamav-base 0.98.3+dfsg-1 failed the piuparts test [1]:
0m30.8s ERROR: FAIL: After purging files have been modified:
   /etc/subgid	 not owned
   /etc/subgid-	 not owned
   /etc/subuid	 not owned
   /etc/subuid-	 not owned

As far as I know, these /etc/sub{u,g}id files are created by the shadow
package since version 1:4.2-1 [2]:
    * login.postinst: install a default /etc/subuid and /etc/subgid

They are probably changed by clamav-base, because it uses adduser to
create the clamav system user (and has done so for a long time, without
any problems).

Thus I don't think this is a problem in clamav-base, but rather piuparts
should ignore these files.

If we have to fix something in clamav, I would appreciate it, if the
shadow maintainers could explain how to properly do this.

Best regards,
Andreas
