Since I haven't got any feedback from neither Ryan nor Anders with
regards to debsums since the above cited mail (i.e. in the past 6
weeks), I've now imported the debsums git repository into the Debian
Perl Group's packaging git repositories.

On Alioth, /git/collab-maint/debsums.git is now a symlink to
/git/pkg-perl/packages/debsums.git/ and the old debsums.git has been
renamed to /git/collab-maint/debsums.git.old/ for now. This means that
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/debsums.git/ already
shows the work which has been done on debsums under the pkg-perl
umbrella.

I intend to upload a new release of debsums (likely dubbed "2.1")
either to unstable shortly after the Jessie release, or alternatively
to experimental before the Jessie release.
