I did that on purpose, the first version was only in use for some hours…

I spoke with Niels about this at the reproducible builds hackathon and we
were both not entirely comfortable pushing this into stretch now, despite
us both seeing the benefits of having our latest qa tools in a release…

that itself is a feature ;)

well, maybe. But then there are people out there who use it on sid and
others use it from jessie-backports, which both have 0.76.

point taken. but then there is still #752256 so I doubt many people use
our configuration scripts anyway…
