[Piuparts-devel] Bug#966124: piuparts.debian.org: complain about Python SyntaxWarning messages in installation logs

Package: piuparts.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

I occasionally see Python SyntaxWarning messages when installing or
upgrading Python packages (for eg #966101). It would be great if
piuparts.d.o could parse all logs looking for lines like the following
and then after the install/upgrade, run `dpkg -S` on all the .py
filenames found to find the corresponding packages and then produce a
warning on the pages for each of those packages.

/usr/{lib,share}/python*/.*\.py:[0-9]+: SyntaxWarning: .*
