As explained earlier in the thread, the behavior mentioned in the topic
"grabs tty from CP2102/CP2109" is expected, because that's the only way
for blind people to get their their device working without having to
configure things blindly.

What is not expected is the package to be installed on a system which
does not have a Braille device. As mentioned earlier again, AFAIK that
*only* happens if these devices are plugged during installation of
Debian.
