I think you are the best person to think about this, but I appreciate your answer and I agree!
The package is unfortunately already existing in Ubuntu, so I'll need to break/replaces the -doc package for some time, but nothing too worrying,because we already have a bad delta anyway...the package in Ubuntu has been uploaded as 0.8.0, so we had to call the version 0.8.0+real5prealpha+1-5ubuntu2 to make it recognized as "higher"
Having a new upstream snapshot might help :)
but if you can move the documentation, and enable parallel builds, it will simplify the delta to mostly zero until the next ubuntu LTS and next upstream is out!
