It seems because your virtual machine does not have usb support, and
thus no mounted usbfs, which brltty complains about. I have forwarded
this upstream.
A question, however, is why brltty is getting installed in your case. It
should be getting installed only when braille was detected and used
during the debian installer. Do you have any idea why?
