Description : MathCAT: Math Capable Assistive Technology
MathCAT is a library that supports conversion of MathML to:
- Speech strings (in several languages) with embedded speech engine commands
- Braille (Nemeth, UEB Technical, CMU, and many others)
- Navigation of math (in multiple ways including overviews)
It has become a dependency for the Orca screen reader for giving blind
users access to mathematical content.
It is available in the standard cargo repository, it additionally
depends on the following, not-yet-packaged either:
- radix-fmt
- sxd-document
- sxd-xpath
- peresil
I have no rust packaging experience and not really time to spend on
learning it (I already have too many package to maintain), so ideally
it would be easy for the rust packaging team to something-like add a
line in an automatic packaging tool and get this in easily.
