Package: acpid
Version: 1.0.8-7
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

Hello,

I updated today my i386 HP Compaq 6715s notebook and my amd64 workstation again
to the as-is unstable status.

My workstation is still working well, but acpid reports on booting:
Can not open input layer

And yeah that's true. I can not move my mouse or enter anything about my keyboard
(like password, switching to a VT etc.).

It definitly breaks my laptop system, so on critical..

Cheers.
