On several bug reports/emails. The code is supposed to only set the *LED*
according to the status of the wireless itself. Apparently on some systems like
yours it switches on or off the wireless, which it definitely should not do.
Add on top of this that there are reports out there where wireless was switched
off and couldn't be brought back up I thouhgt it might be better this way. The
worst thing is we lose the LED display, but that appears to be better than
losing wireless completely.
