Please ignore (and close) this wishlist bug.

The PoC was done against a debian unpatched script.
After applying the debian patch-work, I noticed some more, IMO, shortages.
I'll file new bugs.  The main idea is still: forks should be avoided when
shell builtin alternatives are available.
