[Pkg-acpi-devel] Bug#623019: acpi battery 'discharging at zero rate'

Package: acpi
Version: 1.5-2
Severity: normal

Ever since I upgraded from Lenny to squeeze (way before freeze),
gnome-power-manager has stopped displaying the time remaining on my
laptop battery.

It doesn't appear to be a bug in g-p-m, and perhaps not even in upower
but in acpi. This is the proof:

$ acpi
Battery 0: Discharging, 99%, discharging at zero rate - will
never fully discharge.

Sometime later I rerun same command

$ acpi Battery 0: Discharging, 90%, discharging at zero rate - will
never fully discharge.

I'll attach a png with g-p-m specs for the battery (the current
energy/charge level will not correspond to acpi output as they were done
at different times).
