Right and the original report had the right way of fixing it, but since MATE is
not in Debian I said I wouldn't add it.

I didn't attack you, I just tried to point out that you hit the wrong tone yourself.

You brought your points, I brought mine and then your argument was, that your
way is "the right thing". What is this if not trolling?

I repeat again, this is *not* the right thing. The patch in the other bug
report would be, if MATE was in Debian.
