dpkg-reconfigure alsa-base shows: "autosave always"

whereas /etc/default/alsa shows: "never autosave"

Is this because I edited the file rather than use dpkg-reconfigure?

Having set with dpkg-reconfigure it now sticks.

Maybe there should be a comment in /etc/default/alsa to warn about this.
