Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.5a-3
Severity: minor
I freshly installed alsa-base. /etc/default/alsa contains this comment:
# Set as false if you don't want the init script running
# 'alsactl store' on shutdown.
alsactl_store_on_shutdown=true
On reading /etc/init.d/alsa I discover that in fact I have to set this
string to "never autosave" in order to prevent the initscript from
running "alsactl store".
