Version: 0.9.8-3
Severity: normal

If you still have some sequencer subscription when unloading the alsa
modules, the kernel oops (as warned in the 'aconnect' documentation).
When you are shutting down the system this means that the whole system
gets hanged without the user being able to do nothing afterwards.

The command 'aconnect -x' should be called, but i don't know the correct
location. Maybe as post-deinstall module rule or maybe in the init.d
script.

If the kernel oopses then it's a bug in the driver or in
the kernel. You should report such problems upstream to the
ALSA developers.

As this report is very old I don't think it is of much value
any more. Closing. Please reopen if the bug is still relevant.
