[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#269282: /etc/apm/event.d/alsa: fuser superfluous?

Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.5a-3
Severity: normal

/etc/apm/event.d/alsa does

    fuser -k -STOP $devices

on suspend. But then it does "/etc/init.d/alsa force-stop" which kills
all processes using sound devices. Thus the fuser command quoted above
would appear to be superfluous and the

    fuser -k -CONT $devices

on resume would appear to be dead code.

If I am confused then consider this a request for a few explanatory
comments in the code.
