Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.7-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software

I am running Debian off an external USB hard disk. My IDE drivers don't
load automatically from initrd.

While hotplug is loading drivers, it skips the via82cxxx module because
alsa-base added to the /etc/hotplug/blacklist.d/alsa-base file just
before via82cxxx_audio which is effectively the OSS module for the
integrated audio controller on my motherboard.

Please don't blacklist via82cxxx since it is the module for the IDE controller.
