Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.7-1
Severity: important

I own a SBLive! with the LiveDrive front-panel thingy.

Up until recently, I was able to separately configure playback and capture
volume of my LiveDrive Line Jack using alsamixer.

Since the 1.0.7 upload (at least I think it is since then), I can
no longer activate CAPTURE for "Line LiveDrive" in alsamixer using
SPACE, and the "Line LiveDrive Capture" channel which I was able to use
to configure capture volume independently from playback is simply gone.

I've been using this feature to connect my e-guitar to the computer and
do the occasional effects thingy using ecasound. Since I can't capture
anymore, and since I can't reduce playback to 0 while still having 100%
capture, I can't do this sort of thing anymore.

Unfortunately, I have no further suggestion whatsoever why this bug
appeared. I didnt change kernel version, I practically changed nothing
except the occasional apt-get dist-ugrade on sid.
