Hi,
I'm mailing you because I don't know what can I do with my sound card.
It was running with 2.4 and alsa-utils/driver... compiled. It was some time ago.

It isn't very important to work, but I wan to run the sound card.

I thought that alsa is included in 2.6 branch and it works correct.
It's what I've read. But when I run:

modprobe snd-als100 a lot of modules ar loaded
~# lsmod | grep snd
snd_sb16_dsp 11712 0
snd_sb_common 15872 1 snd_sb16_dsp
snd_pcm 98728 1 snd_sb16_dsp
snd_page_alloc 11752 1 snd_pcm
snd_mpu401_uart 7968 0
snd_rawmidi 25156 1 snd_mpu401_uart
snd_opl3_lib 10656 0
snd_seq_device 8200 2 snd_rawmidi,snd_opl3_lib
snd_timer 25668 2 snd_pcm,snd_opl3_lib
snd_hwdep 9412 1 snd_opl3_lib
snd 57156 9
snd_sb16_dsp,snd_sb_common,snd_pcm,snd_mpu401_uart,snd_rawmidi,snd_opl3_lib,snd_seq_device,snd_timer,snd_hwdep
soundcore 10336 1 snd

I have this lines in /etc/modprobe.conf
# ALSA portion
alias char-major-116 snd
alias snd-card-0 snd-als100
# module options should go here
# OSS/Free portion
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
#card #1
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss

Can somebody help me or tell to me what can I do?
Thanks!
