Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.6a-10
Severity: important

 Hi,
when I am trying to recording music which are on a external player (cf
Mini disc), every recording are ugly. I can record music, but, after,
when I m play the front recorded tracks, there are a lot of "jumps",
"sratchs" or the music speeds or slown down randomly.

These problems were decreased when I was upgraded the kernel on the
version 2.6.9, but are still presents.

I test the same recording on windows, and worked perfectly:-(

---> Steps To Reproduce

1 - plug a mini disc or external player on RCA
ou line in of the external rack of the soundcard
2 - record music by ardour/jack or audacity
3 - play music recorded

My hardware :
Soundcard: Creative Sound blaster audigy 2 ZS Platinium pro

Thanks for helping
