ALSA 1.0.7 actually seems to be available already in the ALSA archive.
E.g.:

    ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/driver/

contains a file named 'alsa-driver-1.0.7.tar.bz2' dated 11 November 2004.

However, there is no announcement on the home page.
