Severity: normal
Whenever I play a 32KHz audio stream through ALSA directly (using either
mplayer or Xine with a video of an ad I have in my ~), it plays almost
at double-speed (probably 11/8 speed) using direct ALSA output, as if
it's not being converted to 44KHz or 48KHz, or whatever it is my card
does by default. However, if I use OSS output, and let the ALSA OSS
emulation do the work, it plays fine.

I am closing bug reports against alsa-source that are more than one year
old and that relate to upstream aspects of the package. The reports are
too old to be of any use now.
