OK. I find it sometimes toggles, e.g., when over "Capture",
and sometimes "swipes, and doesn't toggle back", e.g., when over Mix
Mono. So it cannot always be called a toggle marker.
Aside from "Capture", only one can be turned on... seems like an
artificial limitation?
Also maybe instead of ------ they can say "Cap ON" and "CapOFF",
and as the line over "Capture" is apparently special, say something
different there.
