Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.7-2
Severity: normal

Since alsa-utils 1.0.7, alsactl store no longer saves the state of my
capture device (earlier versions worked fine).

My sound card is an Intel ICH4.

The entry in /var/lib/alsa/asound.state for the capture switch reads
as follows:

        control.25 {
                comment.access 'read write'
                comment.type BOOLEAN
                iface MIXER
                name 'Capture Switch'
                value false
        }

and when I run alsactl store, the value is always set to false, even
if I have the switch selected. Hence, if I run alsactl restore, the
capture device is turned off.

If I edit the file to set "value true", then run alsactl restore, the
capture device is (correctly) switched on.
