[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#317868: alsamixer: unexpected quit when pressing tab

when pressing <Tab> in alsamixer, the program exits with:

$ alsamixer
alsamixer: function snd_mixer_find_selem() failed: Invalid argument

$ echo $?
2

Pressing <F4> instead, the program stays in playback mode.

trying to run in capture mode:
$ alsamixer -V capture
No mixer elems found
