[Pkg-alsa-devel] Towards the next alsa-driver and alsa-utils releases :)

Reflecting on my last message, it occurred to me that alsa-driver and
alsa-utils could also do with some testing right now. Since the last
release I have split the initscript into two: one ("alsa") in alsa-base
that handles module (un)loading and one in alsa-utils ("alsa-utils")
that handles mixer level (re)storing. Note that the new mixer level
restoring code requires udev 0.060 which requires a 2.6.12 kernel.
The complexity of the changes is slightly higher than average, and
so is the risk of breakage. I'd like to hear whether or not people
have problems when upgrading from alsa-base 1.0.9b-2 and alsa-utils
1.0.9a-3 (or earlier versions) to alsa-base 1.0.9b-3 and alsa-utils
1.0.9a-4, currently in svn. The new versions of alsa-base and
alsa-utils Conflict with the old versions of alsa-utils and
alsa-base, respectively, so they have to be upgraded together.
