Hi, ive a similar problem here. After last Alsa update sound has become cho= ppy.=20 I have no loaded modules except nvidia. My system is a PIII-450 with an es1370 that worked without sound problems yesterday. Also, esd (my sound daemon) seems to need more CPU than before (3% at most = now).
