[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#363314: Allow to disable storing on shutdown

Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.10-1
Severity: wishlist

At shutdown, /etc/init.d/alsa-utils unconditionnaly stores the cards
volumes. This behavior probably suits people who want to find their computer
at bootup as they left it at shutdown, but some people would rather find it
in a known constant state.

Please add an option (probably via /etc/default/alsa-utils and maybe a
debconf option) to disable the storing of all cards at shutdown.

Regards,
