Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.11-3
Severity: important
ICE1724 Envy24HT with AV710 pci sound card, using libasound2 was unable
to setup sound card as no mixer was available. For example if I ran
rexima it would segfault telling me no mixer data found. If I ran
alsamixer it would load the settings, but no sound after saving config.
After much research decided to install libasound2-dev from etch, this
solved my problems. After installing -dev branch ran rexima again and it
detected mixer and was able to hear sound.
