Alternatives: patch the file (ugh, we'd have to do it for every
experimental release), or we revert to our ugly 1.0.11+1.0.12rcX naming
scheme.

If patching isn't too difficult, we might want to try that way. Even
more if the patch is reusable without rediffing every release, as we
could just remove it from the dpatches list for final releases, and
activate it for release candidates.

I saw there's progress on this.

I'd like to upload all of them at once. Do you know a workaround for
alsa-driver at this point?
